- JoeHExplorer IIISee my post in this old thread for the source I got mine from
Power Gear Motors - doxiemom11Explorer IIYou can also google your part number and google will bring up a bunch of places that have it. You can then compare prices.
- BFL13Explorer III thought I needed a new slide out motor but it turned out all it was, was the rocker switch for the "in/out" that had worn out.
Check that out before buying a new slide motor! ( I did some work checking out wiring including jumping wires here and there to discover where the problem really was.) - dmamExplorerHi, mine just broke also. Did anyone find a way to repair the slideout at better price than 600$US ?
Does anyone know any acceptable replacement number for it?
Thanks for your help... - subcamperExplorer IIDiscounted to $618!!!!!:E
I can't believe how much they want for these motors/gears.
The RV manufacturer probably pays about $25-50 for these motors. Nothing complex, just a single-speed dc motor, simple gearbox, and sometimes an electric brake.
Here are some on Ebay (though not your specific part number):
Power Gear Motors
I would rig something up using a similar cheaper motor before I would ever pay that much ($600).
Or maybe a hand crank!:)
Good Luck
Steve - fluffo2ExplorerHere is your motor, not sure that the price has been reduced that much.

Bob - Dennis12ExplorerMost of the slide motors are manufactured by Klauber RV Slide out Motors. You may want to check their site or call them.
- Big_KatunaExplorer IIDid you look on EBay, Sullivan RV or Amazon?
