A hard wired 400 watt Cobra runs my whole entertainment center, which also holds my computer, cell phone etc for charging.
If the small inverter has no remote off/on switch, the wires to the battery will need to be longer so that the inv can be mounted to give easy access from inside. Rule of thumb is, keep battery wires short as possible, and get the needed distance out of an ac ext cord. If battery wires need to be long to give access to the switch on the inv, just be sure to go to heavy enuff wire to not suffer from too much voltage drop.
Also, if you mount a $5 digital volt meter at the television, you will never be sorry, and hopefully never have a dead battery.
