It could potentially damage the Honda. It's a violation of the NEC. It could potentially electrocute a lineman if there's a grid outage while you're doing it. There are transformers that can boost voltage and inverters that can support the grid. Either would be a better choice. I wouldn't risk the equipment or the liability of your idea.
