Hi,
The Xantrex inverter is not a true hybrid. i.e. it does not do "load support" the way the Magnum, Victron, and Outback units do.
Xantrex simply shifts the entire load from the external power to the inverter and battery bank. There is no "blending" of power.
I know that the Magnum "load support" does not normally do "voltage support". It can be forced to do so by deliberately "dialing down" the available shore power input levels, but that is a balancing act. Not too many battery banks can sustain a 60 to 70 amp load for a long time.
If the OP wants to "do this right" he may need an autoformer, and a hybrid inverter/charger that allows dual power inputs. It is not going to be cheap.
