I doubt it, because they have carburetors.
They have at least one model with electronic fuel injection. - C_B_Explorer

I think the other generator manufacturers use 23'(7 meters) so their numbers on the surface are near Honda's. That's why you have to dig out how their dba levels are measured to compare apples to apples.
On page 16 of Honda's Generator brochure you'll find the dba ratings of Honda's generator line. At the very bottom of the page it states:
Noise levels at rated load to reflect maximum noise level possible, measured at 9 feet (3 meters) from the control panel side of the generator.
I see that Honda is also using LwA measurements.
LwA is an international noise level measurement that uses a weighting factor to reflect noise "tonality" in addition to the sound power (dBA) level.

Took a look and found where it says 9'in some very tiny print. That is odd, Mayberry's website says 7 meters.

I just got off the phone with Mayberry's. The lady I spoke with ask where I got my information from. After informing her where it came from she said she would notify their IT department.

Take a look at the db ratings compared to Honda.
Powerhouse 200Wi db's-------------at 23' 56/66
Honda EU2000 at 9'53/59
Powerhouse PH3100RI db's----------- at 23'56/65
Honda EU 3000 at9' 49/58
Powerhouse PH6500RI db's-----------at 23' 73/78
Honda EU6500 at 9' db at rated load only 60
EU 6500 Honda is quieter at FULL load at 9'(60db) than the Powerhouse at idle at 23'(73db).
Which would you want to camp next to??????

I thought Honda db specs were measured at 7 meters which equals 23 feet? - NinerBikesExplorer

Whoopy-de-do normal conversation at 3 feet is 60-65. City traffic inside the car is 85
Something inside tells me that if you aren't sorry about the noise pollution buying this cheap model, your camping neighbors will certainly be sorry you bought it.
Been there, done that, not worth the stink eye or level of discomfort. - hotpepperkidExplorer

C.B. - K_CharlesExplorerI have a 2100 and a friend of mine has a 3100. They both have a carburetor. Both of us are happy with the purchase.
