Well, don't I feel dumb. Spent 3 hours contorted in the basement, raining outside so I'm working in the area the size of a large suicase, banging my head...knew the two black wires had taken a detour and knew there was a switch down the other side somewhere, then I saw two heading up by the side of the basement hatch door. Aighhhhh...I knew there was a knob there but I thought it controlled the shore power not the 12V. Probably should have JUST CHECKED IT ANYWAY. Got popped in by something. Pulled it out....annnnd there you go. BUT, one day down the line one of those breakers is going to go and I'll know where they are and how to test them. Thanks to you guy. I also found my water pump which by some miracle is still operating 14 years later. Now that I have everything opened up I'm going to do a thorough inspection in the morning when it's dryer, look for leaks....
Now I'm *really* glad I tried to trouble-shoot this myself because I really would have been ticked off at myself if I hired someone to come out and pull a knob out 1/4 inch. What's the point of a switch like that? Does it preserve your batteries during storage? The last time this happened the jacks wouldn't work -- that's probably why I didn't think that was the problem this time, but maybe I was unplugged from shore power this time
Anyway...thank you...very very much. If you find this thread, have lost your 12V power, look inside the hold for a knob with a little sticker that says, "Interior Power"
I will never make this mistake again.
