- ernie1Explorer III have the same problem with my Dometic. Traced the problem to the installation wherein the fridge is mounted right on the floor of the rv directly above the catalytic converter. I've checked the temperature of the floor adjacent to the fridge and it's 104 degrees Fahrenheit. I've thought long and hard for a solution but have come up empty. Can't raise the fridge because the sink is in the way. Can't insulate the floor because there's no room under the floor of the fridge and the heat shield of the catalytic converter is too close to the floor. Oh well, I'll just have to live with it.
- 2oldmanExplorer IIYeah.. I misread the OP "don't know it is.. " . as "don't know if it is..".
I know it's DSI. - djgExplorerno I'm not on battery power and the upgraded fridge to a 7cu ft is only a 2 way

Don't know it is electronic ignition so when you stop it must relight itself
It's not a pilot light it is the burner, small burner but still THE BURNER
And yes it's electronic ignition, turn on the control it lights, if it blows out it Will try to relight - Gene_GinnyExplorerThe temp in my Dometic would rise while driving (running on LP) and then cool properly at night (120vac shore power). Found the LP pressure was too low AFTER the usual cleaning of the gas jet, burner, and vent tube. Never got a "check" light on gas but the flame was just a bit bigger with a good regulator.
- westendExplorerLivin Lite advertises the fridge as a three way. Are you operating it on battery power when traveling?
- A common reason for temp RISE in transit is the drain tube system for the evap fins. Norcolds have a check valve, while Dometics have a plastic drain hose. That hose should be looped or given a p trap when installed but no OEM ever does that. I would block off the end of the drain tube and check the temp rise on next travel. IF the flame went out in transit, he would have a check light indication. It seems he does not have that problem. Doug

Hmm.. evidently some left-over old information in his profile.
The OP's TC is a 2015 and prolly warrantied. - skipbeeExplorerThe OP's TC is a 2015 and prolly warrantied. The Mfg. should have a fix.

OPs rig doesn't HAVE a pilot light. It has only an automatic electronic sparker.
And it does sound as though the fire blows out when you are traveling. I think I'd inspect the burner and fire tube. They aren't supposed to blow out that way. Might be something obstructing things.
