Don't forget the PF is 0.7, so the 120v input required is actually 1300/.7 = 1857 VA. That's why the PD9280 is supposed to be plugged into a 20 amp circuit, not a 15 amp.
I also think it is past time to replace those remaining two batteries. Besides being so old (you definitely got your money's worth) they just got run down to 9v and are being recovered. I don't imagine they can take that punishment at their age.
