I only mention this since it sort of looks similar to how those fuse pigtails go through the board.
You are skilled where I am not for all this, but anyway... When I had to replace the thermistor ( big black disc on legs by the input) in my converter's board, I drilled out the legs with a 1/64 bit, so the holes went through the existing solder on the underside of the board.
I then inserted the new thermistor's legs into the holes and tugged down from underneath till the disc was the right height up top, and did a (horrible to any real tech) job of spreading new solder above and below so the legs would not move anymore. Then I snipped off the part of the legs sticking out the bottom of the board close enough so they were not in the way. It all worked. :)
