OP, it looks like the fuse is inline between the incoming black hot lead and one of those white wires in your picture on the first page. Where do those white wires go?
Edit: I found the answer in a picture in the thread in the 3rd post. They go directly to the bridge rectifier which is mounted on the heat sink. Disconnect the black and red output wires from the rectifier. If the fuse still blows, it’s likely the rectifier.
The picture in this post shows the rectifier in the upper right.
