well, yes, that is what the manual say but that is NOT what the unit will do. I have watched mine drop out around 100V even in the off position. looking at the circuit, it looks like they use a relay with a fixed low voltage dropout. so even with it off it can drop out. it may drop out at a lower voltage than when on, but it will drop out if the voltage goes low enough.
so, all you can do is turn in off and watch and see if it still drops out or not.
