Propane disconnect

No need to trace anything, it's a quick disconnect, it's low pressure - guaranteed. ;) Your Road Trip requires high pressure so examine it to see if the regulator can be removed while leaving the gas valve intact so you can still vary the flame. If so, all you need to do is remove the regulator and get a hose with a quick disconnect nipple at one end and a fitting at the other that will screw into your Road Trip where the regulator normally would be.

Only if you're certain that the T between the main tank shutoff valve and the regulator (if there is one) feeds the quick connect you found in the other storage compartment.
Trace the hose/line. Be certain.

denk, it is simple to determine hig or low. Look at your tank, the first thing connected should be the regulator, if there is a "T" in between the tank and the regulator, it is high pressure, if there isn't it's low pressure. No need to trace the line, everything after the regulator is low.

Some Weber grills now have a smart regulator that cut out if it sees low pressure. The square Coleman grill is made to work with th quick disconnect adapters.

You don't, unless you can remove the grill's regulator - with some like the Weber Q series this is quite easy, with other grills not so much because of the way it's designed. Unfortunately you haven't told us exactly which model grill you have.

Can you trace the hose to the quick connect fitting back to point of origin? If it's plumbed in between the main propane tank valve and the coach appliance regulator, it's high pressure. If it's plumbed in after the coach appliance regulator, it's low pressure. Got to figure that out first, as it affects whether you'll need to remove the regulator from your intended use appliance (Coleman grille).
If it's T-ed between the main tank valve and the regulator, Menards will have all sorts of hoses and fittings for this sort of application, or you could go to a propane shop, like Blue Flame, and have them custom build one for you. I had a T-ed connection between my main valve and regulator (high pressure) so I didn't have to remove the grille's regulator. I had the Blue Flame guys in Lexington build me a custom 15' hose with the appropriate fittings to connect my Weber Q2200 without removing anything from it. Cost around $50 bucks for parts and labor.

I removed the regulator from my Weber 2000 grill and replaced it with a male quick connect fitting so I can use it from my low pressure propane line on my TT. I then bought a propane hose with a regulator attached and a female quick connect fitting so I can use the Weber from a small bottle or 20# tank if I so choose. I can run the grill from any propane source.
