I encourage you to repair it one way or another. A good friend would be alive today he did not smell it inside either. One morning he got up to make a cup of coffee and the fifth wheel exploded. He was at a heavy equipment yard retired and a care taker there. A mechanic was there and called the fire department. He lived three days and passed.
So take the leak seriously no matter how small you think it is. Gas leak detectors work very well but you still cant beat soap bubbles.
