Could be you are getting Butane instead of Propane
Both are considered LP, but you will use approx 30 percent more when burning Butane versus propane
This will really show up when using the water heater or LP generator or maybe a grill
Not quite as noticeable when only using the fridge
You might have a leak but it might only be the increase use of a lower value fuel
