I have seen several YouTube videos of people separating ethanol from gas. Anyone tried this for your generators or yard equipment? To buy pure gas at Lowes or Home Depot you pay about $8 a gallon or...

Rotating gasohol out of jugs periodically seems kinda logical vs. a interweb "hack"...
But
If you have a small engine or genny that absolutely has to start and run when needed you can store it with synthetic alkylate fuel - long shelf life - it will start - then use pump gasohol (it's not gasoline if it has ethanol in it - see the MSDS'sz) - then drain and shut the unit down with alkylate fuel in the system again...
