Pulling ethanol out of gas

I wish they would halt this ethanol boondoggle. It had a worthwhile purpose, and it's a gift to corn farmers. But it lowers mpg by 10 percent so we have to use more of it to go the same mileage. I keep very accurate records of every tank of gas, and when I can get pure gas (only in certain states) I get that 10 percent back.
