For those of you who believe that you can get water in E- type fuel, ask your self what you put in fuel to get water out? it's called dry gas.. which is alcohol.
In Alaska where water in fuel freezes and can stop fuel flow in aircraft tanks we place dry gas in our tanks when they are nearly empty, drain that out to clear the tanks of water. after that all winter we use a chamos to absorb any water that may be in the fuel we add.
Fact, alcohol has 15% less energy per pound than white gas stock, this is why you get less gas milage.
When the lead came out back in the 70's they substituted toluene and benzene as the fuel's burn rate retardant. then came alcohol to do the same thing.
