years back I would take a broken socket wrench in and they would swap it for a new one. then they started replacing the rebuild kit only. Harbor Freight warranties their stuff and it probably comes off the same line in China as the others do. it is good enough for routine maintenance. buy a kit and back fill with other stuff as necessary.
