It depends.... (but you know that as well and anyone else)
There are several factors
Component quality is right up there toward the top of the list
Take a look at the caps in your power supply
Are they "CapXon" if so I would venture a guess of a lifespan of several months to a few years at best
The operational environment is a close second - heat destroys them
After repairing several hundred RV "converters" over the years
The component quality factor easily stands out as the #1 failure issue
Used to do MTBF Calculations on high end video processing equipment only because some customers demanded a #. Not sure how accurate the numbers we developed were but we typically got the sale for having a #.
MTBF numbers are kind of like the weather guessers when they say 40% chance of rain today.
