I will not comment on paralling but 33 amps is about enough for charging a single 12 volt Group 27 or 29 Bit heavy for a group 24 and though OK on a group 31,, you could go an amp or two higher.
Sounds like this is a user adjustable fixed output supply from your description.. NOT what I'd want for a battery charger.. I like smart chargers.. Consider a Progressive 92XX where XX is the amps you want.
