quick and easy inverter question

Does the size of the power inverter make a difference in the draw from the battery? Meaning, if I am pulling 300 watts through the inverter, will it be the same draw from the battery regardless if its a 500w, 1000w etc.. inverter? Does the inverter itself cause any kind of draw?

    No inverter is 100 percent efficient. Meaning you lose power when you invert it. That's why inverters run hot. Here's a page of info:

    not really. higher quality (price) makes more of a difference on standby load than capacity.
