Just a side comment - Have you ever talked with another RV'er on your CB. I have had one under my truck seat for years and never have even heard another RV'er going down the roadways. I use my CB to just listen to the TRUCKERs and keep tabs what is happening in my very near vicinity...
It's almost to NASTY to have ON with kids in my truck. I keep my SQUELCH turned up all the way and volume low. This makes it only work for the truckers that very close to me...
