Random questions/musings - new batteries, genny, charger...

The TC came with one 75AH battery. The twin alternators on the truck charge it well, although there is no isolator: if I leave cable connected between the truck and TC, then disconnect the house batt...

With no inverter and low 12V use you can go a long ways on a battery or two. You won't need a monster solar setup. You can get a 12V nominal panel (maybe 100-120W) and a cheap PWM controller.
