Random questions/musings - new batteries, genny, charger...

The TC came with one 75AH battery. The twin alternators on the truck charge it well, although there is no isolator: if I leave cable connected between the truck and TC, then disconnect the house batt...

Another quick question, to verify I understand:

A400 watt 48v solar panel putting out 8 amps would be deliver 32 amps in a 12 volt system - correct? Attempting to choose an appropriate sized panel for a 250 ah battery. Want about 12 amps.
