Thanks. I looked at a 400 watt panel which claimed to put out 8+ amps - which seemed low to me. Then I noticed it was a 48v panel. So that panel, through the controller, should deliver over 32 amps to the 12v system. Overkill, for me. At best, I'd want 18 amps. Using a three hour charging day, that would provide 54 daily amps. I'm estimating usin 35 amps a day. The extra would be eaten up by temperature, resistance, the lack of a tilt system, and equipment inefficiencies, I think
