What do you mean about the 12v wiring?
So there is a rectangular box that is glued to the board. You can see the coils of copper as the generator or whatever of the spark. There was only one wire run into it. It's run so that the spark occurrs where the gas is. I disconnected that wire and it was still sparking, just right to the ground on the board, rather than the three combustion chamber. It looks like the only way to replace that part is to replace the whole board. I could post a picture later.
I found it odd that it happened after two water events but everything was bone dry in there. I think I should mention it's mounted in a slide so the top vent is on the side.
If it'll help you I can post some pictures later today of it.
By the way, it stopped yesterday again after a few hours. Also it's not like it's the first time it rained here, I'm in Northern California and we've been rained on for about the last two months straight it feels like. This was the first time it caused this constant sparking issue.
