Thanks for the followup. Behold a stuck intake valve, never even crossed my mind. Will have to pull it appart and see if I can free it up and what else is wrong with it. Dropped the oil last night and it had almost and extra litre, can only assume its fuel. Aside from the valve issues might have a washed out cylinder wall as well.
