Re: Quick connect exterior shower hose doesn't connect.

Before I saw these replies I decided I needed to make up a method. So I took the hose to my shop and ran my Dremel sanding disk all over the brass part. That came out looking a bit rough so I got a strip of emery paper and went after the rough bits by rubbing the strip over the brass. It looked pretty good but I decided to put a daub of o-ring grease on the thing.

I won't say it was easy but the connector plugged in. There was no leakage. It came out much more easily.

So my RV is winterized for the first time since the start of the pandemic.
