I have an Samsung S3 and when the battery is 100% and I unplug it within 10 min it will drop to 45%. Can I get a new battery or do I need to replace the phone?

I have a S3 Mini and the battery was done after 7 hours. Turns out the Facebook App. was killing it. Removed the app and everything was fine.
