I've considered this problem before as I have the powered rear stabilizers too. I think if mine go south, I will take the whole thing off and replace with manual screw-type jacks and not mess with the electric ones. They have no real benefit and are slower than molasses in January. I go with manual ones and an electric drill motor. They are just bling, no real benefit, but sure sound good to the marketing department.
