Use a box of table salt ONLY.......
Remove the top and slowly pour salt in allowing water to overflow out top being displaced from salt.
Put the top back on..........wait 30 minutes
Rinse for 20 minutes........slow trickle about the size of a pencil
Been using ours for 6 yrs. Original resin.
Might want to 'back flush' it before regen.
Get a double female garden hose connector.
Install it on outlet..then connect garden hose and back flush for 15 mins. This will remove sediment and fluff up resin bed. Then do a regen.....Salt ONLY
