Dang, now I know why I wasn't having luck finding an inexpensive DC amp meter! Thanks for the replies. My charging/discharging current is something I'm interested in knowing but it's not necessary, so I'm not sure if I'll increase my price range. I already know that my solar array will put in ~15 A under ideal conditions, but I was most interested in the draw of various 12V items, idle/parasitic draws, and the inverter. I've got a Kill-A-Watt to tell me what the AC current draws are, but I'm curious about what that translates to in DC amps when run by the inverter as well the idle draw of the inverters. Is the rule of thumb that DC amps = AC amps x 10?
