The Sears unit I use is a 82-369.
A recent discussion on these meters one "Expert" Said that they were of little if any use to an RVer,,, this was less than 24 hours after this meter diagnosed a bad battery and not only that but which of 4 batteries was bad... I used the clamp on function to find the bad battery..
So I'd have to argue with said "Expert" Cause it sure saved me a bunch of work.
The one "Complaint" or issue I do have is that on DC they read "Absolute(amps)" That is they can not tell charging current from discharging current on the battery.
A small magnetic compass might help there. If you know which hand to rule it with (I forget and have to look it up)
