Simple yes, but if you take the time now to install your new converter in the trailer's front pass through cargo compartment and wire it in permanently to the nearby batteries with correctly size cable you'll not only achieve maximum performance but there'll also never be a need to ever switch back to the stock converter. Just switch the stock converter off and leave it off and let your new converter do it's job ... when you eventually sell the trailer just remove your good converter and switch the stock one back on, no one will be the wiser. Win - win and much easier than fooling around with constantly switching between converters. :)
