The bolts that are loose can be lifted right out of their holes in the lead posts. (6v batteries) I can set them back in their holes and then what exactly?
So no blow torching. Would a soldering gun and lots of solder hold them tight so you could tighten the nut down on a ring terminal again?
How much hammering and squeezing can they take? Don't want to shatter any plates or whatever down inside.
If the bolts can't be used , no fix, I can jury rig something using the lead parts of the posts, but I think there must be a way. I can't be the first one to pull a bolt loose on these things. Golf courses were mentioned.
