I'm confused about the problem.
Is the problem that the bolt in the battery post is spinning?
Can you cut a notch in the top of the post with a dremel tool so that it now has a U shaped cutout in it and lift the old bolt out, and then screw in a new bolt using washers to prevent deformation of the post?
