Sounds like a great install! I recently upgraded, due to my 8955 failure. I installed a PD9270 ~ 2'from the batteries with #4. I also upgraded to 4, 6v GC for 470ah. Don't have a TH but the upgrade should let us run the genny less often. Also installed a 600watt pure sine inverter to watch satt. tv. Good luck!!
