Replacement batteries

We were in the TT last night when it was unplugged and noticed the lights were dimming after a short period of time. We are heading out west in September and will be dry camping for a couple of days at a time. I want to replace the two batteries we have mounted on the front of the camper. Do you have any brand recommendations for what we should buy? My husband is leaning toward AGM batteries...

Thanks,

  • First check the water level in your current batteries if they aren't maintenance free. Low water in one or more cells will cause the battery to not hold a charge.

I second that. While AGM batteries are good. They require special charging to keep them at optimun performance. BTDT and now have a pair of 6V batteries. Also consider changing out the lights for LED's.
