Replacement Battery Charger - recommendation(s)

Even all - I have an old vectron 1093 that I've had for years and it's serving me well. Unfortunately, they are not being manufactured any more. My young cousin is just starting out camping in...

He needs another battery dedicated to the camper shell
A cheap diode based battery isolator will charge both batteries when ever the engine is running, move the solar to the new camper battery
This way he is less likely to get stranded

BAD IDEA to have the camper shell using the starter battery
