Replacing 7 way wiring connector and having problems

Hello out there! We are traveling with our RV and long story short pinched our 7 way cord making a turn. It fried the battery and in turn now has to be replaced. It is Sat. and luckily we found ...

First off, your Tongue jack is self grounding & has a hot wire going directly to the battery. It has nothing to do with the 7-way.
