This is what we use for everything. It is MSW, but nothing we have needs PSW. Grab it fast before the price goes back up.
I haven't run into any issues with the shore cord in one outlet and seeing 120a or so on the Trimetric when running the MW. Not sure if that is true about the outlets. I have heard you need to use a second outlet to get full 3000w above the 15a/120 though.
Yes, shore cord into inverter, converter off Fridge/WH on gas. I can run the MW, toaster, or kettle no sweat. I gave up on the smaller inverter for the small things, and just use this one for the big things. I now just use this one big one even for small loads. I posted about that "small inverter scam" a while back.
I do use the remote on /off so it is only on when being used for something. EG I can use this inverter to run the CFL reading lamp and it uses fewer amps from the battery than a small inverter in the 12v Winegard socket or by using a 12v lamp above the sofa.
Normally more than one thing is being used. EG, watching a DVD movie on TV with that CFL lamp on, or else read a book under that lamp while listening to music using the DVD player to run CDs and a powered 2.1 speaker set.
Turn everything off for bedtime. Morning, turn on the inverter to run the electric toaster to make proper toast, and the kettle to make coffee. ( Note-we are not coffee snobs but the inverter could handle that too if we were. :) )
It is all so easy! :)
