On another note, with the advent of super energy efficient compressor refrigerators, I believe the days of the gas absorption refrigerator are numbered.
Not for those who do not wish to install multiple battery banks and large inverters. If my 7 year Norcold were to quit I would replace it in a heartbeat with another absorption unit. I have had zero issues with it.
