Guess what happens if you forget to recharge them to 0.5a/100AH at 14.x volts until amps taper that low. (see that guide and the other brands' guides, same thing.) You need an ammeter and a charger that will hold 14.x volts for as long as needed to get that done, which many chargers/converters can't do.
Also AGMs can be mounted sideways but not upside down. - opnspacesNavigator II

Lol that's what the 24dc meant.:) I was assuming the OP wanted to wire in series for 24 volts. - MDKMDKExplorerYes, they are. And you can mount them upside down if you want. Try that with your "wets". :B
- BFL13Explorer IIAGMs are not set and forget anymore than Wets are. See AGM charging guide here:

Fewer Ah but you said you don't get off grid much, so these might work better for you. Still a decent East Penn Mfg. built battery.

- MDKMDKExplorerA couple of these will work on/off grid, should you find yourself in a place with no hookups.

Not too pricey, and AGMs are set 'em, and forget 'em. Good in hot/cold and maintenance free. Good total amp hour rate, not T105 good, but good for a night or two off shore power. No idea what your charger looks like, so get a good one, if it's an old single stage, and you'll be good to go.
Take care of that medical issue first, though. Batteries can wait.
Best wishes, and good luck with both. - RV-1_2n-FUNExplorerThanks all.

If as you say you are not using the MH for dry camping. And if we can assume you are always going to be plugged in to shore power. Then buy the cheapest battery you can.
The two 12 volt batteries will work fine for you. Your current T-105's are wired in series to give you 12 volts. If you replace with 12 volt batteries then make sure they are wired in parallel so you still only have 12 volts.
Yup, the T's are in series as we all know so the 12's have to be parallel and just figure that in the 10 years we have had the MH we have never Dry Camped and due to my prostate cancer are using it even less. - opnspacesNavigator II
