Yep! Don't need all that******with Li. Add not needing to keep them at 100% charged either. And throw away your float chargers. Not required. It's recommended to STOP charging once they're fully charged. You could come home from a trip and leave them in a discharged state and charge them up before the next trip. They do self discharge so you don't want to drain them to flat dead cause they'll be flat dead, non-recoverable. Good news is self discharge is equal to AGMs or better.

No Li's BFL!!! There's enough data out there that confirms that this is all true. Head over to the DIY Electric car forums, TONS of info on Li batteries in real world usage there. There and the sailing forums is where I got all my Li info from.
