Looking at the diagram, reverse polarity current won't get through the big D11 and D12 diodes, so the only thing that might carry it are the 3 wires that go off the bottom of the diagram, which I "assume" would fry before the fuses blew. Interesting. Makes me wonder if the reverse polarity protection isn't something Marketing added after Engineering was finished.
