Yes, a very expensive solution for a somewhat temporary result. I have a plywood bed in a utility trailer that has been parked outside for 10+ years. It is just now starting to deteriorate and needs replacement. If you want a surface sealer, I would recommend an oil based varnish or oil enamel paint. If non-skid is a preference, you can buy an additive or used washed sand as an additive.
