I tried to find old pictures of camo netting covering a toyhauler. It produces shade during summertime and can handle wind gusts while camping in the desert.
We would drape it over the trailer and stake it down into the ground. The netting had to be 60'x60' to cover the whole trailer.
I want to get the same wind friendly camo netting in a 10'x30' size and cover just the roof of the trailer. I think it would really help to keep the trailer cooler, as well as reduce UV ray damage on the sides. Because im hoping to have little extenders to hold the camo netting a foot outward on each side. Would like to go wider but all i see online is 10' wide for non military grade.
I want to mount a pole to act as a roller in the front of the trailer. It would roll up the netting material for traveling. Then....down the road if all this works...i would climb onto the roof. Walk to the front. Pull the camo netting backwards and attach it to mounts that are secured to the roof. In my head i think 6 mounts on the outside. The 4 corners and 2 in the middle.
Then on top of the trailer are 2 AC units. One in the front of the trailer and one about midway. I want to make a fold down support that will hold the netting 6 inches above the AC units.
