I'd say the siding contractor owes you a new roof. and when I got a roof tear from a branch my insurance company insisted that a new roof be installed, not a repair. Reason is that the repair must repair the trailer to "like new" condition. and the only way to do that is to replace the roof. They had no qualms about doing that. One reason I pay $88/year for insurance for my trailer. No if you have insurance, they should pay for replacement and likely go after the contractor for reimbursement.
