I have a question about how you all raise your jacks to prevent binding during the process. Since each jack motor seems to run at a different speed, it seems guaranteed that at some point in the process one of the jacks binds and starts to scream. Do we avoid using the "all up" or "all down" button? I'm still searching for the perfect and silent load or unload. I think by luck, some times are better than others but decided I check if there was a secret out there I don't know about.

Mine don't bind or scream at all. I end up lifting a rear jack off the ground when I'm not leveled correctly. I have Attwood heavy duty units on my camper...

I don't avoid the all up, but I stop and check to make sure that going down (while camper is on the ground) that they are all still on the ground. I tend to have one that wants to go faster from time to time and leaves the ground. I don't have that problem going up although they can get out of height adjustment.I haven't had one make more noise than the others, but maybe yours need some lubrication.

my Atwoods have never bound or screamed. sometimes one will lag behind the other 3 and I with let go the all button and solo adjust the laggard to match the others then go back to the all button

I too use the all up. My fronts do run just a bit slower than the rear so in a typical load, from all down to 26" I will have to stop, run the fronts for about 5 seconds more to catch up with the rears. Believe it is because the fronts have more weight.

that sounds more like the jack is out of square with the tc and the other jacks

What I notice and not sure what causes it, is the binding jack needs to be raised off the ground and you can see it move laterally just a bit. If the feet touch the ground vertically to begin with, I'm not sure how the load moves horizontally on what is virtually a level surface. I was presumming it was the difference in jack speeds.

Ive had older happijacks start to get noisy and almost bind up. It is usually because there is too much pressure on one jack which is mostly caused by one off the ground in the rear.

We use the all up/down buttons and adjust for the lag as well. They were really noisy last year so we sent them in at seasons end. We went out on our first trip this yr and the L front was really grating badly. As it turns out, the gear is completely stripped. HJ is sending us a new motorhead.

As for the rest, they still seem noisy to us, but are working.

We have had several TCs with electric jacks.

Using all extend or all retract I have noticed that one of the rear jacks will slightly lift off the ground. I'll stop and adjust just that one. Then continue with all 4. May have to do it 1, 2 or 3 times depending on how level the ground is.

But have never heard one binding/screaming or making unusual noises.

My jacks run pretty close to all the same. I always use "all up" and "all down". Like others I sometimes have to make a slight adjustment on one of them, but they all tend to operate pretty close to one another.
