My brakes look a lot like ones of the pics in the eBay post you linked to.
I think I have settled on replacing all hoses (front and rear), replacing the caliper that overheated and deglazing the pads from the left rear. I know pads aren't crazy expensive but they have tons of material left.
The one part of this job that I am not looking forward to is bleeding the brakes. The reservoir is in a crazy place. The only way to get to it is to crawl under the beast and sit on the ground between the left front tire and the frame. Thank goodness I'm still a skinny guy.
Ya, bleeding brakes can be terrible but have a friend handy and take your time. The pedal operator can operate a reservoir filler in between pedal operation. A funnel with attached hose will be your friend.
